Corinne Glover - Executive Director
Executive Producer and Board member Corinne Glover was born into a family rich in dance tradition. Her aunt was a founding member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), London, in the 1920’s; and her mother was the original RAD organizer in the San Francisco area in the mid 1950’s. Ms. Glover’s training began at the age of six, and she holds membership in the Royal Academy of Dance. She was Director of the English Ballet School in Los Angeles from 1976 to 1989, where she established herself as a very skilled and thorough teacher, coaching students of all levels. She opened the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy in 1992 and is the Academy’s Director.
Carol Guidry - Artistic Director, Choreographer
Ms. Guidry received her Royal Academy of Dance training and Advanced 2 Certificate at the Audrey Share School in Long Beach, CA. She was a soloist with the Minnesota Dance Theatre, appearing in works by George Balanchine, Sir Fredrick Ashton, Glen Tetley, Eugene Loring and Jose Limon. She danced, taught and choreographed in Germany for eight years with the Heidelberg City Ballet and the Gelsenkirchner Musiktheater im Revier. After returning to Los Angeles, Ms. Guidry choreographed three productions for the Mark Taper Forum and performed regularly with the Los Angeles Chamber Ballet. She joined the teaching staff of the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy in 1994 and co-founded the Santa Clarita Ballet Company with Ms. Glover in 1995.
Company Bios
Caitlin Colangelo has taken a variety of dance classes in ballet, Irish tap, and hip hop from the time she was 2-1/2 years old. At the age of 8, she chose to concentrate on ballet and jazz when she joined the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy. Caitlin passed her RAD Advanced I exam with distinction in 2010 and is preparing for her Advanced II exam this year. Caitlin has performed in many of The Nutcracker productions in the roles of Snow Corps, Flower Corps, Mirliton, Spanish and Chinese, and was thrilled to perform as the "Rat King" in 2010. She has been in many spring shows, including Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Tales of Beatrix Potter, La Bayadere, G-Side/B Song, Dvorak Serenade as well as "Tweedle-Dum" in Alice in Wonderland. In addition to the annual SC Ballet Summer Workshops she has also attended the Royal Academy of Dancing Intensive in Long Beach. She is very interested in the arts and brings her dance background and artistic sensibility to her school endeavors. Caitlin hopes to study dance and music in college and will always make her focus on dance an important part of her life.
Jenna Dietrich started her training at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy at age nine. It was a very daunting experience. She looked up to the skilled dancers in the Company with admiration and amazement. After many years of practice and hard work she has been accepted into the Santa Clarita Ballet Company as a Junior Apprentice. This Nutcracker will be her first performance as a member of the Company. She will be performing as a Snowflake in the corps de ballet. She most recently performed in The Tales of Beatrix Potter as well as Alice in Wonderland, Coppelia, and multiple Nutcrackers. Jenna plans to continue her ballet training with the fantastic teachers and the wonderful friends she has made at Santa Clarita Ballet.
Nicole Dobias started dancing at the age of 5 and has loved it ever since. She began her ballet training at the Santa Clarita Ballet and has been with them ever since. She has participated in every Nutcracker and June performance since 2000. She has also taken every RAD exam beginning with the Pre-Primary exam. This past year Nicole passed her Intermediate RAD exam with Distinction. In this year’s Nutcracker she will be dancing in the Snow and Flower Corps and is very excited to dance Arabian and Mirliton for the first time as well. Nicole loves to dance and hopes to dance professionally one day.
Lilly Erickson started ballet training 6 years ago with Debbie Marino and enrolled in the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy in the summer of 2006. Lilly enjoys taking four ballet classes a week along with jazz and Yoga. She currently holds her RAD Grade 6 certificate and will take her Intermediate exam this spring. She has been seen as a Party Girl and Snow Corps in The Nutcracker, a Villager in Coppelia, one of Jemima Puddleduck’s friends in The Tales of Beatrix Potter and is looking forward to being in the Flower Corps and Chinese in this year’s Nutcracker. Ballet is Lilly’s passion and she hopes to dance her whole life.
Sidney Haefs began her ballet training at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy when she was 3 1/2 years old. She has been a Soldier and Partygirl in the company’s annual Nutcracker in addition to dancing the roles of Harlequin and Fritz. This past spring she had the honor of dancing the part of Peter Rabbit in The Tales of Beatrix Potter. In August of 2009 Sidney was taken into the Santa Clarita Ballet Company as a Jr. Apprentice. She will have the rare privilege of dancing all seven performances as a 1st year member of the corps de ballet in Waltz of the Snowflakes. She is grateful to all her teachers and friends at the ballet academy and is looking forward to dancing with the Santa Clarita Ballet Company for many years to come.
Paige Hart started dancing at the Santa Clarita Ballet at the age of four and has performed in every performance of The Nutcracker and June show ever since. Her first performance was Beauty and the Beast where she played a Rose and this past June she was lucky enough to dance the role of Mrs. Tittlemouse in The Tales of Beatrix Potter. In this year's Nutcracker she will have the rare privilege of dancing all seven performances as a 1st year member of the corps de ballet in Waltz of the Snowflakes. In March Paige passed her Intermediate Foundation exam with a Distinction. Paige enjoys spending time with her friends at ballet and school. Ballet is her passion and she hopes to be doing it for the rest of her life.
Morgan Hernandez is sixteen years old and a junior at West Ranch High School. She has been dancing with Santa Clarita Ballet since the age of five and has participated in numerous productions such as Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, G Song/B Side, Beauty and the Beast, and of course The Nutcracker. Her favorite roles include Tweedle Dee in Alice in Wonderland and the Autumn Fairy in Cinderella. She was ecstatic to be able to add the role of Marie to this list in 2009 and was privileged to dance the roles of Snow and Flower Queen in the 2010 production of The Nutcracker. Morgan loves the art of dance and is excited to be able to expand her dancing abilities. She aspires to major in dance in college as well as to have a career in dance.

Emily Hoffberg has been dancing at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy since she was three years old. She has performed in all of the June and December performances, with her favorite roles being Maid, Rat, and member of the Snow and Flower Corps in the Nutcracker, and Flopsy Bunny in Beatrix Potter. She enjoys many forms of dance and plans to keep dance an important part of her life.
Kristijana Hordov began dancing at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy at the age of 3 1/2 and has performed in every Nutcracker and June production since. Her favorite roles include Harlequin, Fritz, and Party Girl from the Nutcracker, and the Black Pig from The Tales of Beatrix Potter. This year Kristijana is thrilled to have the rare privilege of dancing all seven performances as a 1st year member of the corps de ballet in Waltz of the Snowflakes. Kristijana is an Honor Student and through her hard work and dedication, aspires to be the best that she can in both school and ballet. She hopes to complete her RAD training and see where her love of dance leads her.
Celine Kiner began dancing at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy at age eight. Since then, she has enjoyed performing in seven of the company’s productions. Some of her favorite roles include Dina’s kitten in Alice in Wonderland and Tom Kitten in The Tales of Beatrix Potter. She passed her Intermediate Foundation exam with Distinction in the spring of 2009 and hopes to complete her RAD training. Celine loves dance and is looking forward to several upcoming years with the Santa Clarita Ballet.
Nadine Bridget Lara began dancing at 5 years old at Santa Clarita Ballet Academy. She is now currently in her ninth year of dancing ballet, 3 years of jazz and 2 years of tap. She recently passed her Intermediate Foundation exam and will take the Intermediate exam in the spring of 2010. Nadine loves to perform at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center and has been participating in the Nutcracker and June shows. This year she has joined the Company as a Jr. Apprentice, and is honored to perform for the first time in the Snow Corps in this year's Nutcracker. Nadine is home schooled and enjoys dedicating her time by dancing 5 days a week. She thanks God for the opportunity, and is looking ahead to many great years with Santa Clarita Ballet.
Kaela Lindsey began her dancing experience at the age of 4. After moving to Canyon Country, she began her training at The Santa Clarita Ballet Academy in 2005. She has had the pleasure of taking part in many spring productions, as well as the honor of dancing the role of Mrs. Tabitha Twitchit in the 2009 production of The Tales of Beatrix Potter. This upcoming Nutcracker production will be the first Nutcracker for Kaela, and it is especially exciting for her because she has been given the rare privelege of dancing all seven performances as a 1st year member of the corps de ballet in Waltz of the Snowflakes. Ballet is her passion, and she is looking forward to the exciting years that Santa Clarita Ballet holds for her.
Marisa Magsarili began her ballet training with the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy when she was 6 years old. She has performed in every production of The Nutcracker since then and in this year’s production, she is lucky to be in the snow corps. Last June Marisa was cast as the Fierce Bad Rabbit in The Tales of Beatrix Potter. Marisa proudly completed her Intermediate Foundation exam with distinction this past March and is looking forward to taking her Intermediate exam in March 2010. Marisa appreciates all the support from her teachers and friends in the ballet academy and anticipates all the coming years dancing with the Santa Clarita Ballet.
Camille Masino began dancing at the age of 3 and found her home at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy at the age of 6. For the past 10 years she has participated in every Nutcracker, June performance and annual Royal Academy of Dance Exam. This year Camille is excited to perform the Mirliton and Arabian variations, and Snow and Flower Corps in The Nutcracker. Camille's love, desire and determination to dance has enriched her life greatly and she believes the art of dancing can enrich every person's life. She hopes to continue dancing throughout college and one day teach dance to children born with disabilities. Camille loves to spend time with her family. She enjoys watching her brother's sports and loves to see her two little sisters following in her dancing footsteps.
Monica Payne has been dancing at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy since she was three years old. She is thrilled to be a member of the Santa Clarita Ballet Company this year as a Junior Apprentice. She has enjoyed dancing in the Nutcracker and spring performances where some of her favorite parts include Harlequin and Party Girl in the Nutcracker and the Good Rabbit in The Tales of Beatrix Potter. She currently holds her Intermediate Foundation certificate and is preparing for her Intermediate RAD exam this spring. Dance is her passion and she is excited to dance for many years to come.
Mallory Russikoff has been dancing at the Santa Clarita Ballet since she was 3 years old and has performed in every Nutcracker and June show. She will be performing the roles of French Doll, Snow, Flower, Mirliton, and will be adding, Snow Princess, Flower demi-soloist, and Spanish this year. Her favorite roles include Chinese, and Party Girl from The Nutcracker, Anna Marie from The Tales of Beatrix Potter, and White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. She attended the Long Beach RAD summer intensive workshop in July 2004 and in the summer of 2008, she attended the Long Beach RAD summer intensive again to complete her Advanced 1 exam. In the summer of 2007, she attended American Ballet Theater (ABT) summer intensive in Austin, Texas. Mallory currently holds her Advanced 1 certificate and is preparing for her Advanced 2 exam, which she hopes to complete before graduating high school. Mallory hopes to pursue her dancing for many years, and complete her RAD training.
Caroline Siler started her ballet training thirteen years ago with the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy at the age of four. Since joining the company she hasenjoyed dancing the roles of Snow Queen, Spanish, Mirliton, Arabian and Flower demi-soloist in The Nutcracker; The King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, the corps de ballet of Kingdom of the Shades from La Bayadere and Dvorak’s Serenade, as well as Carol Guidry’s modern piece G Song/B Side. She currently holds her Advanced 1 Certificate with the R.A.D. and hopes to complete her R.A.D. training when she takes the Advanced 2 exam this spring. Caroline is seventeen and a junior at Santa Clarita Christian School.
Brianna Wright started her ballet training when she was 3 years old with Selena Williams. In 2001, she joined the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy at age 5 to start her formal RAD training. She currently holds her RAD Intermediate certificate. In the summer of 2009, Brianna attended the American Ballet Theater (ABT) summer intensive in Austin, Texas during the summer of 2009. She has participated in the yearly productions of the Santa Clarita Ballet's Nutcracker as well as the Beauty and the Beast, Tales of Beatrix Potter, Coppelia, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and Cinderella. Brianna finds performing exhilarating and looks forward to each production. Brianna is 14 years of age and is a freshman at Valencia High School. She aspires to finish her RAD training and continue her passion for dance.
Camille Xerez-Burgos started dancing when she was 3 years old and has been dancing ever since. She has been with the Santa Clarita Ballet for 11 years now. Ever since then, she has been in all of the productions starting as a mouse in Nutcracker all the way to being corps for Flowers and Chinese. In the last June Production, she was cast as Jeremy Fisher in The Tales of Beatrix Potter. During the same year, she took her Grade 6 exam and passed with a proud distinction. She is currently studying for her Intermediate Exam which she will be taking this March. Camille participates in the G.A.T.E. program, and the California Junior Scholarship Federation. As an honor student, Camille still enjoys dancing with her friends and teachers at SC Ballet, and wants to continue her dancing lifestyle through high school.
